Tablet POS for Stationery E-commerce (Angular + WooCommerce)
Developed a complete tablet-optimized Point of Sale (POS) system seamlessly integrated with WooCommerce/WordPress e-commerce platform to empower sales reps with real-time catalog access and order processing.
Key Contributions:
Angular POS Architecture: Built a modular Angular application with dedicated components for catalog browsing, cart management, client creation, and order validation, following Agile sprints with weekly reviews and user feedback integration.
WooCommerce API Integration: Connected Angular frontend to WooCommerce REST API via custom PHP scripts, enabling secure sales rep authentication through WordPress credentials and real-time stock/command synchronization.
Tablet-First UI Design: Designed intuitive wireframes iterated with sales team feedback, creating a tactile interface optimized for 10-inch tablets with large touch targets, simplified checkout flows, and responsive layout across devices.
Complete Order Workflow: Implemented end-to-end sales process including product catalog display, touch-friendly cart, client account creation, order validation, PDF invoice generation, and automated transactional emails.
Business Process Optimization: Replaced paper catalogs with digital solution featuring real-time product updates, sales rep-specific order history, bulk stationery pack support, and comprehensive Bookstack documentation for team adoption.
